Personalised preparation
Your CV becomes the question paper.
Upload your CV, application form, person specification or job pack. Extracted text is shown back to you to correct, then used to ground questions in your own evidence.
Documents in, questions out
“You mention establishing a hand trauma pathway — what barriers did you face, and how do you know it worked?”
Weakness drills
Practice is automatically steered towards the domains where your recent scores are lowest.
Study plan to interview day
A countdown-aware plan that says what to practise today, in 15 minutes or in an hour.
The practice room
A station that behaves like the real thing.
Everything in the room is built around the published station formats, so the practice feels like the day itself.
What the room does
- A three-person panel with British English voices asks each question aloud, with natural timing between speakers.
- Timed stations that reproduce the published format for your specialty, with a visible station clock.
- Clinical stations start with 30 seconds of reading time; you can begin early or add 30 seconds without losing station time.
- Pressure mode: on some answers the panel interrupts politely and asks about something specific you said, or introduces a clinical development such as a deteriorating patient.
- Follow-up questions stay on screen, so you never lose the thread of what was asked.
- A hands-free check-in asks whether you want to move on, so you never have to fumble for a button mid-answer.
Objective delivery insight
What you say, and how you say it.
Measurements of your delivery — framing, gaze, pace, pauses and fillers — reported objectively, with no emotion or personality inference.
What is measured
- On-device camera measures for framing, position and lighting, with live cues while you set up.
- Speaking rate, pauses and filler words counted from your own audio.
- Transcripts with filler words highlighted, so you can see exactly where they occur.
- A weighted answer breakdown covering clarity, structure, pace, content coverage and camera engagement.
- Everything is measured on your device where possible; scores are practice indicators, not a judgement of you as a person.
Question bank
A growing bank, grounded in published formats.
Practice questions for every supported specialty, from Consultant and Core Surgical Training to Ophthalmology, Radiology, OMFS, O&G, IMT and Anaesthetics.
How the bank works
- Practice questions for every supported pathway, organised by station and theme.
- Filter by level — Foundation, Intermediate or Advanced — and by what you have already practised.
- Practised questions move to the bottom and carry a badge, so the ones still to do stay on top.
- Suggested reading linked to the relevant specialist body or UK guidance for each topic.
- Questions are original practice material drawn from published formats, not live or past questions.
Portfolio self-assessment
Match your portfolio to the interview domains.
Work through each domain, review your evidence against it, and see what to gather next — as practice information, not a score.
What you can do
- Self-assessment against the published domains for Core Surgical Training and Plastic Surgery ST3.
- Choose the statement that matches the evidence you can show today and see where your evidence is thinnest.
- Upload a portfolio PDF or paste text to see which requirements your wording addresses, which are unclear, and which are missing.
- Draft rewrites keep unverified details as gaps, so nothing is invented for you.
- Uploads are used only for the review in front of you and are not saved.
Coach
Review, compare, and practise out loud.
The Coach page pulls your sessions together and adds short speaking exercises you can complete in a few minutes.
What the coach gives you
- A summary after every session: time used, speaking pace, filler words and practice scores in one place.
- Cautious development notes that highlight patterns in your recent sessions and suggest what to practise next.
- Twenty timed speaking exercises — your best audit in 90 seconds, a challenging situation, why this specialty, pressure drills and more.
- Exercises are categorised and searchable, and each attempt is saved so you can compare against your previous try.
